IN 2002 an elite group of AzhiaziaM Paddle in and Tow in surfers targeted an open ocean reef. "Mystos" is the nick name that was tagged to keep this location some what under wraps...this spot was surfed in the 70's (mostly the lefts) and had only been ridden by a handfull of hard core big wave chargers since then. Van Curazza was the first person that we know of to tow-in to this spot in 1995...Shane Stoneman and Jason Milner have frequented the spot over the years (paddle in) and now it was Chris Enns, Chad Jackson, Eric Akiskalian, Chris Brown, etc... who raised the bar and started hitting up the spot on a consistent basis...
