Over 100 miles from the beach, the city of Lemoore, California was never on any surfer's radar... not until eleven-time World Surfing Champion Kelly Slater opened up his now legendary KS WAVECO Surf Ranch in Lemoore and started pumping out footage of perfect waves, almost breaking the internet a little over 2 years ago. Now it seems that everyone wants a piece of the action and some are even willing to pay upwards of $10,000 to be a VIP and Surf Kelly's concoction!

Not yet open to the public for recreational surfing, the Surf Ranch has been available to only mega stars, ultra wealthy, top pros and whoever Kelly deems worthy of a truly WiIly Wonka's Chocolate factory experience for surfers. Rumors have been circulating of a couple of new wave pools next to the current one opening up the future inevitable KS Waveco for us Average Joes. The price may still be steep, probably in the $100+ per hour range. But with the hype and allure of this mystical beast made by our leader, we will pay to play.

All of this dramatic fanfare has created a surf hype in Lemoore like no other city in the Central Valley. And one of our friends and long time AzHiAzIaM supporters from Lemoore has jumped on the surf train, opening the first surf shop in Lemoore.
